Strong Community Strong Economy is a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting vulnerable individuals and families who face the imminent threat of losing their housing or having their utilities disconnected. Many of these individuals do not qualify for emergency government assistance or receive insufficient aid to meet their needs.

We recognize the critical importance of supporting individuals who require medical treatments or services not covered by health insurance. We understand that physical and mental health are integral to achieving and maintaining independence.

At Strong Community Strong Economy, we aim to help eligible households by providing financial assistance of up to $6,000 per household within a 12-month period, whenever funds are available. This assistance can cover overdue utility bills, moving costs, late rent or mortgage payments, and eligible medical expenses associated with chronic long-term illnesses like Lyme Disease and its co-infections.

Our organization is actively expanding its network within the community to advocate for those in need and assist them in accessing the appropriate resources to help them maintain or achieve independence.
